
Pamela Williams is a smooth jazz saxophonist with a respected, long-standing career in contemporary jazz. Born on December 28, 1963
She gained national exposure touring as a saxophonist with Patti LaBelle, then launched her solo career with her debut album Saxtress in 1996. The album charted on Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz Albums chart and established her as a consistent presence in smooth jazz.
Pamela went on to release multiple albums that received regular smooth jazz radio airplay and performed internationally. She has performed and collaborated with Teena Marie, Prince, Babyface, Chante Moore, Sheila E., Barry White, and Queen Latifah.
Fun fact: Pamela Williams is also a visual artist and painter. She holds a degree in art and teaches art, bringing her creativity beyond music and into the classroom.
